This tutorial was entirely created by me, any resemblances to any other tutorials are purely coincidental. This tutorial was created on 23rd February 2008
Supplies needed: I use Paintshop Pro 9, other versions can be used too. Scrapkit from Melissas’ blog HERE Scrapkit Just Me (Feb 21, 2008) in the Freebies section Font: Tattoo Ink HERE
Open 500x500 white
Open yellow paper Colourize it to red Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colourize H: 255 S: 255
Copy and add the red paper as new layer
Open stitched circle Colourize to blue Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colourize H: 147 S: 74 Click inside the circle with the magic wand Go to Selections > Modify > Expand > 4 Click on the red paper in the layers to highlight it Selections > Invert Delete CTRL + d (deselect)
Go back to the circle layer Drop shadow circle H and V: 2 Opacity: 50 Blur: 10 Layers > Merge down the circle and the red paper
Duplicate layer - the new circle and paper layer Go to original circle layer Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > 20.00 Effects > Texture effects > Blinds Width: 2 Opacity: 100 Colour black Check both Horizontal and Light from left/top
Open the triple frame Add as new layer Move it to the left side of the tag
Open your blue paper Colourize it to another blue paper Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colourize H: 147 S: 74
Add the blue paper as new layer and move it underneath the triple frame Open your tube – add as new layer underneath the frame Image > mirror Move the mirrored tube inside the frame where you want it Highlight the triple frame With the magic wand click inside the frame Go to Selections > Modify > Expand > 4 Selections > Invert Highlight tube layer Delete Highlight blue paper layer Delete Deselect (CTRL + d)

Add drop shadow to tube and frame H and V: 2 Opacity: 50 Blur: 10
Merge down the three layers (frame, tube and paper)
Add the tube again as new layer Resize the tube 90% Move it to the right Look at tag as reference
Hide the triple frame layer by clicking on the eye in the layers palette Find the FreeHand Selection Use the tool to remove the bottom of the tube so it fits the frame Look at my tag PS You might want to lower the tubes opacity so you can see the frame underneath when drawing around the bottom of the tube Also zoom in on the area so it’s easier to see Draw where you want to delete Hit delete Deselect (CTRL + d)
 Add drop shadow as above Unhide the triple frame
Add embellishments and add drop shadow
Add copyright info
Add your name Drop shadow H and V: 2 Opacity: 50 Blur: 5
